When licensing goes kaflooie

I believe in technology licensing… I really do.

I also believe that we’re going to eventually need an overhaul of our intellectual property system on a global scale.

Why, you ask? Simple.

The Licensing Handbook Blog is the companion site to the Software Licensing Handbook. Covering licensing topics on a regular basis, Jeffrey Gordon attempts to offer advice, add humor and sometimes even a bit of wit to a practice that most people find abhorrent - namely, reading a contract from start to finish.

Well, thanks a lot, now I’ve suddenly entered into a license agreement with a Singaporean company I’ve never heard of! I do appreciate that they have a printout of my entire website available at their helpdesk though. Always handy in case the internet goes down.
